View from an upper floor of building 54 to the harbour side of building 82, which is located on Ungsmaløya Island on the left side of the harbour entrance and was built on rocks. Two windows are boarded up, the other windows and doors are missing. There is a loading crane on the upper quay. The lower level of the quay is partially destroyed. A tattered fishing net is wrapped around the structure and beams. In the background is the island of Langøya with the coastal road to Nyksund and the land-based lighthouse. Electricity poles run across the mountainside of Langøya.

The image, negative 2 of film and contact sheet 5, is one of 15 b/w 35 mm negative films with 36 exposures each, mostly taken by Wolfgang Eschenhorn, which document the stay of young people from Neukölln in Nyksund from July 18th to August 23rd, 1987.
