View from an upper floor of building 54 to the harbour sides of buildings 69, 70, 71, 72 (roof only), 73, 74, 76 and 77 as well as the double quay on Ungsmaløya Island. Building 77 has partially collapsed over the pier. The façades of the harbour buildings and the pier with the landing stage for boats are reflected in the harbour basin. Behind the mole are four small islands in the North Atlantic. The gable end of the two-storey building 53 (Brygge) on Nyksundøya Island, facing the harbour, is shown in the foreground on the right-hand edge of the picture.
The image, negative 42 of film and contact sheet 5, is one of 15 b/w 35 mm negative films with 36 exposures each, mostly taken by Wolfgang Eschenhorn, which document the stay of young people from Neukölln in Nyksund from July 18th to August 23rd, 1987.
